Rotomaker is expanding its core post-production team and launching immediate recruitment for a skilled VFX Generalist based in Hyderabad, India. Available under both contract and full-time arrangements, this position is structured for artists holding 3 to 5 years of active visual effects experience. If you are a versatile generalist who excels across shot prep, multi-pass integration, and emerging machine learning workflows for global film and TV projects, this role provides an ideal platform.
Selected candidates will work directly on high-end visual sequences, applying a problem-solving mindset and sharp attention to detail across diverse production challenges. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The VFX Generalist will handle shot execution and technical problem-solving across key production modules:
- Roto, Paint & Shot Prep: Execute clean plate preparation, wire/rig removals, element reconstruction, and precise rotoscopy mattes for complex live-action plates.
- Compositing & Shot Finishing: Seamlessly integrate live-action footage, graphics, and visual effects elements into photorealistic, polished final shots.
- AI & ML Pipeline Integration: Apply AI & ML tools to streamline asset generation, tracking, cleanup, or compositing tasks for high-quality project deliverables.
Required Knowledge & Skills
