Fractal Picture is scaling its operational infrastructure and launching immediate recruitment for a Production Assistant / Intern. Based on-site at their studio in Goregaon, Mumbai, this full-time role is structured as a 6-month hands-on training program designed to coach fresh graduates directly into a Production Coordinator role upon successful completion. If you are an organized, detail-oriented communicator with a strong passion for film and animation storytelling, this opportunity provides a clear pathway into studio management.
Selected candidates will work closely with Production Coordinators and Managers to track artist progress, organize daily review sessions, update databases, and manage daily round sheets. The studio environment provides comprehensive exposure to real-world production challenges, scheduling strategies, and cross-departmental feedback loops across Animation and VFX pipelines.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The Production Assistant will manage day-to-day administrative and pipeline tracking tasks across several key areas:
- Project Coordination: Track artist assignments, shot progress, and delivery deadlines using project management tools like Shotgun, while maintaining accurate daily round sheets and production databases.
- Communication & Dailies Support: Act as a liaison for artists, record and distribute meeting feedback notes, and set up technical media requirements for internal and client review sessions.
- Quality & Delivery Logistics: Double-check file naming conventions, monitor delivery status for deadlines, and coordinate across tech, pipeline, and editorial departments to resolve blockers promptly.
