Fractal Picture is expanding its creative post-production division and launching immediate recruitment for an experienced Motion Graphics (MGFX) Artist. Based on-site at their studio facility in Goregaon West, Mumbai, this position is structured for mid-level artists with three to four years of hands-on industry experience. If you are a motion designer who excels at combining typography, design aesthetics, and fluid animation to craft engaging visual stories across film and digital media, this role provides an excellent creative workspace.
Selected artists will work closely with the creative team to design and animate motion assets for varied project lines. The studio floor values strong composition parameters, rhythmic timing, and high-end visual polish, offering a dynamic environment for artists looking to build compelling motion graphics content.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The motion graphics artist will drive visual design and dynamic animation across several media formats:
- Design & Motion Creation: Develop engaging, high-quality motion graphics and animations tailored for feature film sequences, digital campaigns, and promotional presentations.
- Visual Storytelling: Apply strong principles of typography, composition, color theory, and timing to translate creative briefs into visually striking motion sequences.
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with creative directors and post-production teams to refine assets, maintain brand/project consistency, and deliver polished final renders.
Required Software Knowledge & Skills
Candidates applying for this Mumbai-based role must demonstrate proficiency across the following toolsets:
- Primary Creative Ecosystem: Advanced, hands-on operational mastery of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
- Design Foundations: Deep understanding of key animation principles, kinetic typography, graphic design layout, and pace management.
- Experience & Location: 3 to 4 years of relevant professional experience and full willingness to work on-site at the Goregaon West facility.
