Astra Studios is looking for an experienced HR Executive to support the next phase of growth at our VFX & Animation studio in Bangalore. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and can balance people operations with technical workforce management. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Senior Management to ensure the right talent is onboarded at the right time. If you possess a high degree of ownership and have experience navigating the HR complexities of the Media & Entertainment or Tech sectors, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit procedures.
- Coordinate recruitment strategies specifically aligned with dynamic production needs.
- Oversee payroll inputs, statutory compliance, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and provide robust support to the studio workforce.
- Maintain accurate workforce data and generate reporting to assist management in decision-making.
Requirements & Professional Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional HR experience.
- Industry Preference: Prior experience in Media & Entertainment or the Tech sector is highly preferred.
- Skills: Precision in data management, strong understanding of compliance, and excellent recruitment coordination.
- Attributes: Ability to thrive in high-pressure, project-based studio environments.
