Studio: Emerging VR/AR/AI Studio (via Mota Hub)
Job Opening: AI Artist – Image Creation / Final Image Finishing
Location: Hammersmith, London (Hybrid Preferred)
Employment Type: 3–6 Month Contract

We are working with a studio at the forefront of VR, AR, and AI storytelling to find an AI Artist who moves beyond concepting to deliver polished, production-ready imagery. This role is designed for a digital artist with a sophisticated eye for final image finishing, much like high-end retouching or matte painting.
You will use the latest AI image models not as a crutch, but as a sophisticated toolset to craft professional-grade visuals. If you understand composition, lighting, and texture, and can bridge the gap between AI generation and high-end production, we want to see your portfolio.
The studios doing the most exciting work aren’t looking for “prompt engineers”. They’re looking for artists.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine high-end AI-generated imagery for advanced storytelling projects.
- Execute precise image composition and maintain rigorous quality control across all outputs.
- Clean up artifacts and inconsistencies to ensure images are production-ready.
- Maintain visual and stylistic consistency across large batches of work.
- Seamlessly combine AI tools with traditional image editing and retouching workflows.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- Experience: Proven background in Matte Painting, Retouching, or High-end Image Finishing.
- Artistic Eye: Deep understanding of composition, lighting, colour, texture, and photorealism.
- AI Toolset: Proficiency with NanoPro, WeavyAI, Freepik, and newer image models.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with ComfyUI is a plus but not essential.
- Mindset: An artist who uses AI as part of a creative process rather than relying on it to generate the core ideas.
