Job Opening: Compositor

Responsibilities:
- Achieve simple to complex compositing tasks at all stages of the production process including pre-comps, temp composites, 2D tracking, 2D effects, extractions, selection and integration of elements, and color grading
- Produce high-level photorealistic images and create seamless transitions between filmed footage and composited 2D and 3D elements
- Work with the visual effects supervisor and the compositing supervisor to determine creative and technical approaches.
- Deliver work within established project targets and the high-quality standards of the company.
- Maintain a desire to deliver consistently high-quality aesthetic and technical work on time, while encouraging those around you to strive for the same standards.
- A genuine interest in pushing your creative and professional boundaries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a Compositor in visual effects for episodic.
- Technical knowledge of Nuke and other compositing tools.
- Good understanding of color pipeline management from camera to final master (LUTS, DI process, etc.)
- Critical eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sensibility, with the ability to communicate visual ideas to the team.
- Good understanding of color theory, chroma-screen keying, rotoscoping, tracking, and grain management.
