Job Opening: 2D Animators
Location: Remote, UK only
Type: Fixed-term contract
Responsibilities:
- Animate the assigned number of shots as per quota per week, comprising multiple passes and approval by your lead.
- Follow instructions of the Director to meet creative standards and production deadlines.
- Address any problems with the production team.
- Communicate progress of work to the Production Co-ordinator.
- Ensure the quality and style of the show are consistently achieved in animation work and that all notes/retakes are added.
- Follow file naming and storage procedures according to the production’s guidelines
- Attendance is required at meetings when requested by the Production Co-ordinator and Production Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in rigged animation using Adobe Animate (for senior roles, series experience is essential).
- Strong understanding of traditional 2D animation principles.
- Strong effects animation experience is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the 2D animation pipeline.
