Job Opening: Unreal Engine / Houdini TD

Responsibilities:
- Create advanced simulations, FX’s and procedural models/environments in Houdini.
- Develop and maintain pipelines and tools within Houdini and Unreal for artist efficiency.
- Utilize Unreal Engine for real-time rendering, visualization, and asset integration.
- Create efficient and user-friendly Unreal Engine master materials and material functions.
- Implement and manage the Houdini engine for Unreal for seamless workflow between applications.
- Optimize and troubleshoot technical issues in Unreal Engine, ensuring high performance and quality.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, enhancing overall production quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High proficiency in Unreal Engine.
- Extensive experience with Houdini for FX simulations and procedural modeling.
- Strong background in developing custom tools and pipelines within Houdini and Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine’s visual scripting system (Blueprints) and Python for creating in-editor automation tools that help artists work faster.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize for performance and quality.
- A good understanding of animation, motion, and artistic principles.
- Experience working with Perforce and Shotgrid for version control and project management.
- Proven experience in a Technical Director/Technical Artist role, ideally with a focus on both Houdini and Unreal Engine.
- Strong portfolio showcasing technical expertise and creative solutions in Houdini and Unreal Engine projects.
- Ability to work on-site in Helsinki.
