The Lead Vision is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled 3D Animator Artist to join our team and bring characters and stories to life through motion. We are seeking an artist who understands that animation is more than just movement—it’s about emotion, weight, and personality. If you have a solid grasp of animation principles and thrive in a collaborative production environment, we want to see your showreel.
Key Responsibilities & Creative Scope
- Create high-quality 3D animations for characters, environments, and digital assets.
- Collaborate closely with the rigging and modeling teams to ensure technical compatibility and expressive motion.
- Infuse animations with realistic weight, timing, and personality to enhance storytelling.
- Refine and polish motion paths to align with specific project requirements and aesthetic goals.
- Iterate on shots based on creative direction and feedback from the lead artists.
Technical Requirements & Skills
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in industry-standard tools like Autodesk Maya or Blender.
- Animation Fundamentals: Solid understanding of timing, spacing, and complex body mechanics.
- Portfolio: A strong showreel demonstrating a mastery of character-driven animation.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and meet production deadlines.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Real-time engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Foundational knowledge of 3D rigging.
- Experience with motion capture (MoCap) data cleanup.
