Innowaft is expanding its game development team and launching immediate recruitment for an experienced VFX Artist (Unreal Engine). Based on-site at their office facility in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, this full-time position is tailored for real-time visual effects artists who excel at combining procedural simulation workflows with real-time particle integration. Selected artists will collaborate closely with game designers, environment artists, and engineering teams to align VFX with core gameplay mechanics. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
The Unreal VFX Artist will drive real-time particle creation and performance tuning across several key modules:
- Real-Time & Procedural VFX: Create high-quality real-time game VFX in Unreal Engine using Niagara for particle systems and Houdini for procedural simulations and assets.
- Engine Integration: Integrate VFX assets into Unreal Engine using custom materials, shaders, and Blueprints while keeping visual style consistent across environments.
- Optimization & Debugging: Debug and optimize visual effects to satisfy strict real-time performance budgets and ensure smooth in-game framerates.
Required Software Knowledge & Skills
Candidates applying for this on-site role in Rajahmundry must satisfy the following technical requirements:
- Core Toolsets: Advanced proficiency in Unreal Engine (Niagara system), Houdini (procedural & simulation-based VFX), and Adobe After Effects (compositing and motion concepts).
