Job Opening: Senior DMP Artist
Location: Vancouver, Canada
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have a keen, critical eye for composition and detail
- Strong understanding of lighting and photography
- Ability to quickly mock-up solutions for shots as well as take them to final with photographic quality
- Must be able to create their own 2.5D setups in nuke by projecting multilayer DMPs onto 3D geometry, and rendering them through a moving camera for a convincing illusion of a 3Dimensional environment
- Independent, organized, with a team-player and collaborative attitude
- Must have advanced knowledge of Photoshop and be proficient with Nuke
- Must have basic knowledge of 3D software such as Maya, 3DSMax, or Blender
- Must have a portfolio of work that showcases experience in DMP
Other skills and experience considered:
- Concept Art skills are a big plus
- Advanced 3D techniques: lighting, shading, rendering
- Compositing
- Interest in arts e.g.: Fine arts, digital arts, photography, etc.
