Key Requirements: Nuke proficiency relative to experience level, attention to photorealism, and flexibility for an initial night shift schedule

Ident VFX Lab is expanding its post-production division in Kochi and launching immediate hiring for Junior and Mid-level Compositing Artists. This studio track is geared toward narrative feature-film visual effects pipelines, offering artists an active environment to deliver production-ready shots and scale their technical skillsets.

Please note that these roles involve a night shift schedule for the first 2 months before permanently transitioning to a standard day shift layout.

Openings & Experience Levels

The studio is welcoming immediate applications for two distinct production tiers:

  • Mid-Level Compositor (2–5 Years Experience): Responsible for driving complex shots, seamlessly matching CG elements with live-action plates, and executing high-level color grading and lighting matching. Requires strong, standalone compositing instincts.
  • Junior Compositor / Fresher (0–2 Years Experience): Responsible for fundamental keying, blue/green screen extractions, cleanups, and layer assembly tasks. Freshers possessing an active, technical showreel are highly encouraged to apply.

Required Software Knowledge & Skills

Candidates joining the visual effects crew must demonstrate the following pipeline competencies:

  • Core Node Toolset: Practical operational mastery or working foundational knowledge of Nuke.
  • Artistic Eye: A keen aesthetic understanding of photorealism, environmental atmosphere, light interactive behaviors, and edge integration.
  • Shift Flexibility: Total willingness to operate within a night shift workflow for a fixed 2-month introductory window.
