Digital Turbo Media is rapidly expanding its high-end visual effects facility in Kochi and launching a major multi-tier recruitment drive for its core production crew. The studio is looking to onboard experienced, mid-to-senior level talent across multiple disciplines, including Compositing, ComfyUI Pipeline Integration, FX Simulation, and 3D Asset Creation. The studio is focused on building advanced, future-proof workflows that combine classic cinematic execution with bleeding-edge visual automation. Relevant industry experience is strictly mandatory across all open tracks, and the talent desk is prioritizing immediate joiners who can seamlessly step onto the studio floor and maintain rigid quality, realism, and continuity benchmarks.
Available Tracks & Scope
Experienced artists can target several specialized openings depending on their pipeline background:
- Compositor (Mid & Senior – 3+ Yrs Exp): Drive high-end shot finaling, complex multi-pass integrations, and seamless plate matching inside node structures.
- ComfyUI Artist (3+ Yrs Exp): Develop and deploy AI-assisted VFX pipelines, executing custom node-based generations and blending AI workflows directly with traditional tools.
- FX Artist (5+ Yrs Exp): Lead the creation of large-scale dynamic simulations, managing production-ready workflows for fire, smoke, fluid dynamics, destruction layout, and complex particle setups.
- Senior 3D Generalist (5+ Yrs Exp): Oversee hard-surface or organic asset construction, handling modeling, look development, lighting configurations, shading networks, and rendering loops.
Required Software Knowledge & Skills
Candidates must demonstrate advanced master-level proficiency inside these specific tool ecosystems:
- Compositing & AI: Deep operational command of Nuke and ComfyUI for real-time asset mixing, alongside expert Photoshop image handling skills.
- FX Simulation: Expert-level mastery of Houdini for building heavy, production-ready particle and volumetric simulations.
- 3D Asset Creation: High proficiency across Autodesk Maya, Arnold, ZBrush, Blender, and Adobe Substance 3D Painter for texturing and UV mapping. Knowledge of rigging, animation, or grooming is a strong advantage.
