Instellars is scaling up its commercial design department and launching immediate recruitment for a talented 3D Artist specializing in Product Modeling & Texturing. This production track is structured as a 100% remote opportunity featuring highly flexible working hours, catering directly to self-motivated digital creators. Selected artists will take charge of standalone product asset files, developing clean topology structures and material details that replicate real-world properties. The workflow operates on high-end visualization standards, prioritizing precision modeling and flawless material application for consumer platforms and interactive digital catalogs.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

The 3D specialist will translate product references into production-grade digital assets across several modules:

  • Product Asset Modeling: Build structurally clean and precise 3D models from product blueprints, photo references, or dimensions, maintaining high structural accuracy.
  • UV Architecture & Mapping: Execute optimized UV unwrap layouts, ensuring hidden seam management and uniform texel density across all structural shells.
  • PBR Material Generation: Author high-end, realistic textures that simulate correct material behaviors like metallic surfaces, roughness factors, and fabric details for interactive web engines.

Required Software Knowledge & Skills

  • DCC Modeling Suite: Proven professional operational mastery within either Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max for structural layout building.
