Job Opening: Lead 3D Animator
Location: Los Angeles, CA, US
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 3D animators in both LA and Shanghai and ensure the timely completion of tasks and make sure that it fits the style and quality requirements;
- Responsible for the planning and progression of the animation production, and the quality supervision;
- Complete the animation design of the characters in the game together with the Animation director;
- Develop the animation and production process in line with the game;
- Ensure the way of action implementation and the effect in the game;
- Review the action resources submitted by outsourcing, and guide the outsourcing production.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years work experience in game animation;
- 3-5 years of experience in large-scale game animation;
- Solid knowledge of structure, modeling, animation principles, etc., able to design high-quality animation performance;
- Good animation design foundation, strong understanding of characters and animals’ body movements and rhythm of movement, able to correctly grasp the laws of movement and development trend, and have innovative spirit for animation design;
- Great passion for the video game industry and video games, proactive, with good teamwork spirit;
- Ability to work with different time zones.
- Experience working on AAA games and third-person action games;
- Experience cooperating with overseas teams.
