Job Opening: Art Internships

Responsibilities:
- Will have the opportunity to work on artistic projects.
- Depending on the needs of the production, will have an opportunity to learn and create: Black/white & color design, Simple background layouts, and/or Storyboard revisionist work.
- Will learn how to work within a professional design pipeline.
- May create artwork as assigned, adhering to stylistic and technical specifications. Creates revisions based on creative feedback.
- May clean and prep storyboards for final lock and shipping.
- Assist Art Director / Storyboard Director with gathering and distributing reference and kickoff materials.
- Clean up and prep art files.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Some previous work experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with the animation industry is helpful.
- Must have an art portfolio/samples for consideration. Please submit your portfolio as a link within your resume/cover letter or as one PDF document along with your resume and cover letter.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop is required.
- Proficiency with ToonBoom Storyboard Pro preferred.
- Knowledge of MAC, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
- Artistic ability is required.
- Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person, and on the telephone.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.
- Must have the ability to work well under time constraints.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to handle confidential information.
- Must be actively enrolled in a U.S.-accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (2.8 or above GPA)
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States. U.S. International students must hold an F1 Visa to be considered.
