Job Opening: Technical Artist

Responsibilities:
- Integrate 2D, UI, and animation assets into Unity with a focus on optimization, consistency, and performance for mobile platforms.
- Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure visual quality and technical feasibility while proactively solving workflow and integration challenges.
- Explore new techniques and workflows to unlock the art team’s full potential.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Mastery of Unity for 2D mobile game development.
- Experience as a technical artist or similar position on shipped mobile games.
- Strong understanding of 2D mobile game optimization (texture atlasing, draw call batching, sprite compression, memory management).
- Deep knowledge of Unity’s UI system (hierarchy structure, anchors, Canvas optimization, resolution independence).
- Integration and management of assets from 2D artists, UI designers, and animators (import settings, naming conventions, asset set up, scene and prefab management).
- Pipeline design and documentation (process documentation, implementation guides, and naming/versioning systems).
- Basic knowledge of shaders and materials in Unity.
- Bonus: experience with Spine animation.
