Job Opening: Visual/ UI Designer
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- As a part of the Voot Experience Design Team, you will Establish, maintain, and be the advocate for very high standards of Visual and Interaction Design at Viacom18
- Contribute to the Voot experience vision and own the end-to-end design process
- Visualize and present ideas through mock-ups, prototypes, animation, and interaction videos as the need may be. Design micro-interactions and animations using Lottie Files
- Develop, refine and strengthen the UI specifications and guidelines for consumption by product and engineering teams.
- Work collaboratively within (and outside) the design team to ensure a seamless and integrated product experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- You have 2 – 3 years of hands-on Visual/ UI Design experience
- You are an expert in designing apps for mobile and web. Designing for TV will be an advantage but its not a mandate
- You debate and brood over the minutest details — pixels, margins, icons, and fonts and go that extra mile to bring the best practices to the table
- You swear by the atomic design methodology and have indulged in design systems
- You are sensitive to colors, typography, and grids
- You have a deep understanding of visual design principles for mobile and web apps
- You are a pro with Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, Lottie Files, etc
- You can design confining to guidelines set by Apple and Android
- You can manage developer hand-off with ease (Using Zeplin or Figma)
