Job Opening: Concept Art Manager
Location: Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Take the responsibility to understand client’s art style of the projects, researching and proposing concept references then come up with workflow, checklist & provide estimate that meet client’s need.
- Ability to create hard surface (weapon, vehicle), environment (prop, building), character, creature, or any other concepts with richly detailed and extensively iterated concept art to achieve the AAA game.
- Ability to thoroughly review and feedback team members on their creative work.
- Constantly update workflow to reach the higher quality with more efficiency.
- Training and developing concept team to achieve annual’s goal.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of experience creating concept art for AAA and high-profile video games; 1+ years of team leadership/supervisory experience designing.
- Ability to organize and assign tasks accordingly to manage priorities with a proactive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to train team members specific skillsets
- Willing to learn new skills and techniques including proprietary software.
- Expertise in foundational artistic skills- composition, rendering, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, character, costume design, Industrial design, and graphic design as well as Story Board.
- An expert in industry standard 2D applications such as Photoshop.
- Good knowledge of 3D game production software- Maya or Blender

- Ability to be open-minded and flexible in decision making
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Able to work under high-pressure and overtime if necessary
