Job Opening: Senior Camera Tracking and Body Tracking Artist
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Strong skills in Camera Tracking/Object Tracking/Body Tracking, reconstructing models with reference images, etc.
- Should have good troubleshooting skills.
- Should be able to handle complex cameras
- Body Trackers should be able to do tight body tracks.
- Convert background plates to various formats to use with specific software to create digital motion files that match the plate photography. This may include animating any live-action character or relative object in the scene.
- Establish character blocking, camera positioning, and animate camera movement.
- Provide technical set-up of shots for downstream production departments.
- Maintain a professional level of knowledge about current developments in match move tools for computer graphics, especially in areas that relate to the film industry.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Should have 5+ years of experience with dual expertise as an MMRA Artist.
- Experience tracking shots in 3d Equalizer
- Strong knowledge of Maya
- Strong computer aptitude:
- Camera knowledge and on-set skills are a plus
- Ability to learn facility pipeline to be able to provide cameras and layouts to the other departments.
- Experience and knowledge of fast turnaround feature work
- Strong critical thinking on layout and pipeline procedures is essential to the position
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Must take direction well and implement changes with a quick turnaround
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and project management; attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Commitment to excellence and willingness to work in a team environment to achieve goals and complete projects
