Experience: Minimum 2-3 years as Editor or Compositor
We are seeking a talented Video Editor & Compositor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in integrating multiple media elements and creating seamless visual narratives from production through post-production.
Job responsibilities:
- Integrating 2D, 3D, and live footage elements
- Manipulate and edit movies in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Input music, narrations, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Create teasers, trailers, rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Ongoing communication with production team regarding schedules and deadlines
- Taking responsibility for own workload, time management, notes, and feedback actions required by Supervisors
- Balancing the creative and technical aspects of each shot
- Continuously discover and implement new technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
Requirements & Expectations:
- Production experience with Nuke in commercials and/or film projects
- A solid reel showing a wide range of shots and a creative eye
- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A pro-active and collaborative work ethic
- A strong eye for detail, composition, colour, and lighting
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve
- An understanding of colour space principles
