Job Opening: VFX Recruiter
Location: Montreal, Vancouver, Canada & Australia
Type: Contract, Remote
Responsibilities:
- Work with department heads and senior production staff to fulfill resourcing needs.
- Perform pre-interview checks, determining candidate suitability and viability.
- Assemble candidate shortlists, ensuring applicant data is concise, relevant, and up-to-date.
- Coordinate and run interviews, booking resources across multiple time zones. Follow up and maintain contact, further developing relationships. Complete reference checks.
- Ensure negotiated salary and benefits are fair, reasonable, and in line with budgetary expectations.
- Submit offers for employment to approved applicants, tracking progress in an employee database.
- As a member of a small HR department, supporting your colleagues when workloads increase is imperative. You will need to work in a manner that ensures others can pick up your work at any time. Providing unfiltered, clear communication is vital.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in recruitment is essential & temp agency experience would be ideal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Databases, presentation software, MS Office, WordPress & Social Media.
- Knowledge of the Visual Effects industry is essential
- Strong time management skills.
