Job Opening: VFX Prep Artist
Location: Malad, Mumbai, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Frame by frame painting
- Removing markers using various comp and painting techniques.
- Cleaning up of seams on the blue/ green screen for compositingteam helping them to pull keys.
- Wire and Rig removal for still/small camera motions.
- Removing a character/object/subject with available source using 3d projection, where movement or depth of camera is not much.
- Face marker removal, wrinkle removal/make up prosthetic fixes.
- Creating clean plates, with help of reference plate provided and using 2d tracking.
- Dust Bust, Script organization, grain management.
- Rendering, making dailies and naming conventions.
- Should understand and evaluate prep needs and quality-check their work.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Equal knowledge of roto and paint.
- Mid- level Experienced in Roto and Paint.
- Artist having Hollywood experience, who has a habit of Managing Deadlines.
- Creative thinking ability.
- Knowledge of tracking software’s like Mocha and Bojo.
- In depth knowledge of Nuke.
- Sequence painting skills using Photoshop and Nuke.
- Basic knowledge of Maya.
