Job Opening: VFX Flame Assistants
Location: Los Angeles, California
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Technical support for Finishing Projects.
- Collaborate with Finishing Producer & Flame Artist on the delivery of all preparations.
- Materials & workflows for finishing sessions.
- Load EDL & Source Files for conform, prep artwork for Flame Artists (graphics, slate prep, etc.)
- Create and send WIP postings and delivery packages for clients.
- Data management, archiving, and project restores.
- Quality Control of all content (technical QC & creative QC)
- Transcoding.
- Support for Producers.
- Direct Client session interactions to help facilitate all client requests.
- Roto, Prep, Clean-up using Flame (if experienced).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mac and PC proficient.
- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Adobe Media Encoder, QuickTime Pro 7.
- Flame experience (Artist Support) is a plus.
- Experience in Post Production workflows (editorial, frame rates, video codecs, compression techniques, etc.).
- Superior communication skills, attention to detail, and quality control
