Job Opening: VFX Editor
Location: Adelaide or Brisbane, Australia

Responsibilities:
- Ingest, update, and maintain edits for our visual effects sequences.
- Process and validate editorial material provided by clients.
- Manage, assemble, and quality control all appropriate editorial media.
- Update editorial information in internal systems.
- Generate editorial media as required.
- Assist in managing client deliveries.
- Assisting in the creation of marketing media including internal marketing, show reels, breakdowns, and awards reels.
- Performing all duties while adhering to strict security protocols.
- Update and generate process documentation.
- Assist with other Technical Services tasks as requested.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of editing experience.
- Previous experience in visual effects editorial environment.
- Proficient in the use of editing software, preferably Avid Media Composer.
- Competence in the creation and management of editorial media.
- Strong knowledge of editorial concepts like frame rate, timecode, resolution, file formats and codecs.
- Use of Linux command line.
- Understanding of the post-production process.
- Understanding of colour management.
- Understanding of visual effects workflows.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quality control your own work.
- Strong collaborator who works effectively within the team and with other departments.
- High levels of proactivity by developing the ability to find work that needs to be done.
