Job Opening: VFX Editor
Location: Bogotá, Colombia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Conform plates, maintaining and updating the database, minicuts, temp vfx, and deliveries.
- Work closely with client editors, VFX producers, and VFX supervisors to ensure that everything is needed to create our client’s vision.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining effective communication with team members regarding progress and challenges.
- Utilize industry-standard editing software (Hiero, Flow, Resolve, Nuke) to execute edits efficiently and effectively.
- Quickly being able to identify issues and propose simple and efficient solutions.
- Conduct thorough reviews of edited content, ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in film, video production, animation, or a related field, and relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an editor, ideally in the VFX or film industry.
- Proficiency in editing software and familiarity with VFX tools and workflows, knowledge of online editing, and Avid workflow.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality in all edited content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
