Job Opening: UX/UI Designer
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to craft components in Figma based on the game design objectives, narrative guidelines, and creative targets.
- Create visually balanced and player focused mockups that demonstrate a solid understanding of readability, clarity, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Collaborate with other artists to maintain and push the boundaries of our UI art style
- Understand, communicate and advocate for the design system and associated methodologies across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Work with tech and engineering teams to refine the implementation process and workflow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have 3+ years of UX/UI and/or Product Design experience
- Experience creating, and defining UI style guides
- Experience working with Figma (or similar prototyping tools)
- Proven knowledge of UI design fundamentals such as layout, grids, typography, etc.
- A personal passion for games and staying on top of the latest trends in the industry
Bonus Traits:
- Experience with creating wireframes and prototypes demonstrating user needs
- Proficiency with UI implementation
- Familiarity with Atomic Design Methodology, Figma Components and Variants systems, and Design Tokens
- Proficiency with After Effects or other animation software to define and demonstrate UI animations
- A personal passion for open-world, builder, or survival games
