Job Opening: Senior Gameplay Animator
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality bipedal human and fantastical creature animations
- Ability to engage in and lead proactive, proficient and collaborative cross-functional communication
- Review animations with your team, and provide pointed, timely and accurate artistic and technical feedback
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of professional game development experience as a gameplay animator
- Shipped at least 1 game as a Senior Gameplay Animator
- Experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, or other engines
- Experience in full production cycles of 1 or more shipped console/PC titles
- Strong keyframe animation skills
- Proficient in Maya and Unreal Engine
- Experienced in animating action scenes, with strong posing and timing skills
- English speaking and writing skills (Japanese is a plus)

- Experience animating cameras for action sequences
- Strong sensibility and understanding of game design and gameplay
- Extensive knowledge of the visual language of Anime and action scene composition
