Job Opening:Â Rigging Artist
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Development of real-time rigs for characters and animals, based on mocap data
- Integration and optimization of rigs in the engine
- Support character team by debugging rig related issues
- Update and maintain rigging library and documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Good understanding of rigging and joint mechanics
- A minimum of 4 years experience in the video game or movie industry
- Good knowledge of Maya, 3DSMAX, Motion Builder, and constraints related to rigging on this software.
- Knowledge of languages: Python, MaxScript, PyMel, … is a plus.
- Proactivity around the problems of rig and skinning inherent to the video game
- Autonomous, organized and with excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach
- Adaptability, especially in terms of quality and time constraints
- Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting/problem-solving ability
