Job Opening: Senior Video Producer
Location: New York, NY, USA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of photo/video production, including: sourcing and negotiations; casting and talent management; stylists, set designers, studios and locations; directors, crew and production assistants; catering, transportation and travel; as well as creation of call sheets and production books, and pre-production meetings.
- Coordinate and produce productions not only in and around NYC.
- Coordinate and oversee the pickup and drop off of equipment (both rental and owned by Theo Darling).
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Assist with the creation of all kinds of still and video assets, from high-volume social media content to high-fidelity campaign imagery—and everything in between.
- Understand the objectives, target audience and content parameters for each project, and collaborate with Theo Darling creative and account teams to develop solutions that achieve our clients’ goals.
- Manage the entire production workflow, from pitch and initial briefing through concept and pre-production, shoot/production, post-production and hand-off of final deliverables.
- Ensure all deliverables are held to a high standard (error free), delivered on time, within budget, and according to client specifications.
- A confident, problem solver who is open and flexible to other solutions.
- A competent editor with the ability & desire to assist the creative teams as production workflow allows.
- Generate cost estimates, build project budgets / scopes of work, and meticulously track and reconcile hours and expenses.
- Serve as project / traffic manager for internal team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Always put our clients’ goals first, understanding their desired outcomes and collaborating with the Theo Darling creative teams to create video solutions that meet and exceed them.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Must live in or around NYC.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office or Apple iWork (numbers, pages, and Keynote)
- Experience with Adobe Premiere
- Comfortable leading presentations to clients in conjunction with the creative team
- Keeps cool under pressure and remains calm, respectful, and resourceful
