Job Opening: VFX R&D Developer

Responsibilities:
- Conduct innovative research and development in computer graphics, focusing on cutting-edge advancements to enhance our VFX projects.
- Explore, implement, and refine ray tracing-based rendering techniques to achieve photorealistic and visually excellent results.
- Analyze and dissect the latest research papers to identify opportunities for integrating new, innovative techniques into our workflows and projects.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, techniques, and technologies within the visual effects and computer graphics industries.
- Collaborate seamlessly with developers/TDs to integrate new technologies into our existing pipeline.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas and proposing solutions to technical challenges.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and technical processes clearly and systematically.
- Present research outcomes, conclusions, and progress updates to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Work under the CTO, aligning efforts with the company’s strategic direction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Graphics.
- In-depth knowledge of ray tracing techniques, rendering models, and their practical implementation.
- Strong foundation in applied mathematics for image processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, and CUDA for graphics programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with adaptability to new challenges and research areas.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex technical concepts.
- Ability to independently analyze research papers, extract relevant insights, and apply findings to concrete projects.
- Experience working with pipeline developers and integrating new technologies into existing workflows is an asset.
- Self-motivation, creativity, and dedication to staying at the forefront of industry trends and advancements.
