Job Opening: Texturing Artist

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • The primary duties will include unwrapping complex 3d models and Creating textures using Substance Designer + Substance Painter.
  • Will be taking up the responsibility of working as a Senior Texturing Artist and mentoring / Training fellow Junior Artists in the Team.
  • Should be highly efficient in unwrapping complex models, creating complex textures and PBR workflow.
  • Should be able to seamlessly work with Project managers / Production Coordinators to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • The Texturing artist will be working with the Team Leads closely and bringing in practices in the Texturing Pipeline to maintain the best quality and meet delivery timelines.
  • Effective team collaborator, with a good eye for detail.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 06+ years of proven work experience in Substance Designer + Substance Painter.
  • Ability to create hand-painted complex textures, shaders and materials using Substance Designer and / or Substance Painter.
  • Efficient working knowledge in Modeling is a must
  • A clear understanding of Model shapes, Shaders, Materials, Textures, Cameras Angles and Lighting in multiple softwares.
  • Proficient in software like Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Z Brush, Photoshop and rendering engines like Vray, Arnold, Corona, Cycles etc Would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to follow up/communicate with the CGI department to assist and run the project smoothly.
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine will be an added advantage.
