Job Opening: Texture Artist
Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creation and optimization of Texture/Material (NOT shaders)
- Manage texture and material library
- Create benchmark environment surfaces
- Imagine, craft and produce textures and materials that range from realistic to stylized
- Work in timeframe with technical instructions for the given project
- Closely cooperate with fellow artists
- Share knowledge with fellow team members and exchange experiences – help each other solve problems
- Being literally involved in some very tasty new IP’s that are arriving on the Anshar’s table.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in multiple surfacing applications (Quixel Suite, Substance Suite)
- Solid understanding of visual language – PBR, texture, color, scale, composition, proportion, lighting, etc
- Ability to create proper custom, atlas, and tiling textures for games
- Working experience with baking textures from high res meshes
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate Polish (B1/B2 level)
- Intermediate English (B1/B2 level)
Bonus points for:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine
- Experience in the preferred software: Blender, Houdini, Substance Designer/Painter, Photoshop/GIMP
