Job Opening: Texture Artist

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Creation and optimization of Texture/Material (NOT shaders)
  • Manage texture and material library
  • Create benchmark environment surfaces
  • Imagine, craft and produce textures and materials that range from realistic to stylized
  • Work in timeframe with technical instructions for the given project
  • Closely cooperate with fellow artists
  • Share knowledge with fellow team members and exchange experiences – help each other solve problems
  • Being literally involved in some very tasty new IP’s that are arriving on the Anshar’s table.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in multiple surfacing applications (Quixel Suite, Substance Suite)
  • Solid understanding of visual language – PBR, texture, color, scale, composition, proportion, lighting, etc
  • Ability to create proper custom, atlas, and tiling textures for games
  • Working experience with baking textures from high res meshes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Intermediate Polish (B1/B2 level)
  • Intermediate English (B1/B2 level)

Bonus points for:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience
  • Very good knowledge of Unreal Engine
  • Experience in the preferred software: Blender, Houdini, Substance Designer/Painter, Photoshop/GIMP
  • Shaders
  • Passion for video games
