Job Opening: Technical Artist

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Developing shaders and graphical systems to manage:
  • Weather
  • Time of Day
  • Developing shaders for foliage/characters/environments for our NPR art style.
  • Assisting in developing art pipelines with scalability at their core
  • Performance profiling on PC and Consoles
  • Understanding and providing technical & artistic support to your embedded team

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in HLSL in Unity
  • Experience in setting up Weather/Interaction/Time of Day systems
  • Mastery in at least one DCC common for game product delivery, (i.e Maya/Blender)
  • Proficiency in C#
  • Proficiency in one scripting language (Rust/Mel/Python)
  • Solid technical knowledge of art pipelines and requirements for multi-platform releases
  • Good knowledge of optimization for console/PC releases
  • Comfortable with being able to present work in progress and prepare high-quality renders
  • Comfortable preparing implementation and scalability plans to be presented to the project direction team
  • 1+ shipped title
  • 2+ years experience in the games industry
