Job Opening: Technical Artist

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers and artists to analyze and refactor content for performance
  • Prototype and develop efficient and creative solutions in an existing content base
  • Develop tools and workflow improvements
  • Mentor artists on best practices
  • Mediate/Guide overall visual quality and performance across all platforms
  • Provide Detailed Performance Reports of internal projects across all platforms
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication and proven ability to work with others to develop and iterate on features
  • Experience with various software packages such as 3DsMax, Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance, Houdini
  • Demonstrated ability to provide support, training, and documentation for art teams
  • Scripting or shader programming experience is a plus
  • Proficient with the node-based material editor, such as UE4’s
  • Experience with PIX or other GPU capture tools
  • Cross-platform development experience (XB1/PS4 preferred)
  • Experience working with and gathering spreadsheets, data sets and charts to analyze data to drive profile-based action
  • Experience in Unreal Engine 4
