Job Opening: Technical Artist (All levels)
Location: Brighton, England, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Will provide technical support to the Art and Design departments.
- Create tools or pipelines to achieve the artistic vision and to optimize art assets for target platforms.
- Develop materials, textures, and other tech art related game assets.
- Enforce asset organisation and standardization.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to art production.
- Maintain strong communication with the teams across the organization.
- Collaborate and share knowledge on latest advancements with other technical experts within the company.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine or similar game engine.
- Proficiency with scripting languages like Python, Blueprints, C# or Lua.
- Familiarity with DCC packages and their toolsets.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A commitment to professional development and growth.
Please let us know if you have:
- Shipped a AAA game in Unreal Engine or similar game engine.
- Experience with Unreal C++, Python and Blueprints.
- Skilled in algorithms, software design & architecture, and debugging.
- Experience with procedural asset creation workflows (Houdini, Blender, Geometry Scripting, etc…).
- Experience with A.I. or machine learning.
