Responsibilities:

Ensuring our people practices meet the business objectives

  • Provide effective and consistent performance and absence management support to leaders through education, coaching and application of our processes and principals.
  • Ensure our HR operations service is effective and efficient.
  • Evaluate, research, document and inform our people practices across the employee lifecycle to ensure they meet the needs of the business

Deliver a credible partnering service to manage employee relations

  • Ensure our employee relations culture positively impacts the way people work and our policies reflect good practice in line with employment law.
  • Support leaders to resolve employee relations cases in a timely and commercially sound way.
  • Support employee voice initiatives and make appropriate recommendations to improve our employees’ working lives, reduce turnover and increase engagement.

Administration and analytics

  • Produce and share people data that helps to inform evidence-based people practices, business cases or strategies.
  • Maintain our HR systems and data through effective administration across the employee lifecycle.

Support our wellbeing and total reward strategies

  • Contribute towards the collation and administration of our pay and bonus review processes.
  • Help to create positive working environments where individuals and the organisation can thrive through effective wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Ability to translate analytical thinking into comprehensive recommendations to the business
  • Digital literacy skills that inform business decision making through data visualisation and information sharing
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity with HR Information Systems (Sage People would be ideal!)
  • Experience networking and relationship building across all levels of the business
  • Broad awareness of how HR adds value commercially
  • Highly organised with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to multitask
