Job Opening: Wedding Film Editor
Location: Hyderabad, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Video Editing: Edit raw footage from weddings and behind-the-scenes shots, to create cohesive and emotionally engaging wedding films or be able to produce trending reels/ videos for any social media.
- Storytelling: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of each couple’s unique story and translate it into a visually compelling narrative through video editing.
- Post-Production: Enhance video and audio quality, color grading, audio syncing, and adding music or voiceovers to create a polished and professional final product.
- Client Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with clients to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the editing process.
- Efficiency: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards. Should adapt companies’ video editing style.
- Technical Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and technology to improve editing techniques and workflow efficiency.
- Quality Control: Ensure all final edits meet the company’s quality standards and maintain consistency in style and branding.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a film editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing wedding or event video editing work. (minimum 2 years experience)
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video and audio post-production techniques, including color grading and audio syncing.
- Excellent storytelling, visual aesthetics and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Must have the best knowledge of Audio Software along with Audio Storytelling.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently.
- A passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for the emotional significance of weddings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software.
- Familiarity with 4K and high-resolution video formats.
- Knowledge of audio recording and editing.
