Job Opening: Experienced Surfacing Artist : Netflix animated event series

Responsibilities:
- As a Surfacing Artists you will work closely with our production team to create the textures and surface qualities needed for the completion of CG Characters and hard-surface models.
- You are responsible for the delivery of high-quality organic elements for our 3D characters and environments and collaborate with the team to determine design and technical solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in production as Surfacing Artist
- Experience working on high quality shading, surfacing and texturing
- Attention to details in textures and materials
- Proficient in Mari, Zbrush, Photoshop, BodyPaint, Substance Painter and Designer
- A good understanding of material properties with regards to shading
- Surfacing showreel, ideally (but not essential) with descriptive break down illustrating knowledge and experience in painting, illustration, or design
- Familiarity with feature animation production is not a must but a plus
