Job Opening: VFX Coordinator
Location: Moore Park, Australia
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the VFX department, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Work with the VFX Producer and Supervisors to create and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure that project requirements are understood and met.
- Create and manage shot and asset databases, ensuring that they are up-to-date and accurate.
- Coordinate with 2D and 3D to ensure that all necessary elements are delivered to various departments in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the VFX team, clients, and other departments to ensure that everyone is working towards the same goal.
- Help to identify areas where process improvements can be made and implement changes where necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a VFX Coordinator role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the VFX team.
- Experience with project management tools such as Shotgun.
- A good understanding of VFX pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Maya, Nuke, and Houdini.
- Knowledge of budgeting and cost tracking.
- A passion for VFX and a desire to deliver the best possible results for our clients.
