Job Opening: Senior FX Artist
Location: Dublin, Europe
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications & Skills:
- A seasoned Houdini artist with a proven track record of delivering photo-real work for both feature and episodic television series.
- Create tools and scripts to facilitate workflow
- Candidates must be proactive and have a collaborative work ethic with a strong eye for detail.
- Have the ability to develop complex particle simulations in Houdini.
- They must also possess the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a diligent and timely fashion. Excellent personal and team management & communication talents, fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
- Knowledge of Flow (Shotgrid) for team and task integration is required.
- Work closely with the CG Supervisor and FX team members to ensure a timely handover to the composite team.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an FX artist with a significant portion of time spent using Houdini.
