Job Opening: Sr. Motion Designer
Location: Austin, Texas
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Execute top-quality design work in line with YETI brand standards
- Collaborate with designers, art directors, and copywriters to create stories through motion
- Work with Design Director to expand upon the brand system and style guide through motion
- Keep up with trends that will put YETI at the forefront of design excellence in line with brand standards
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully defined
- Be able to estimate how long a task may take and work with producers to track toward deadlines
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously, and proactively prioritize feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Manage the quality of design from idea to delivery
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 4 years experience in motion graphics at an agency, media company, design studio, brand, or similar
- Has a proven ability to ideate and execute cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design including an expert understanding of typography, color, and layout
- Have a passion for bringing impact to communication through motion graphics, video editing, and animation
- Expert-level command of design and motion applications and video editing software including Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc)
- Ability to think in design systems, have an attention to detail, and can understand a variety of aesthetics
- Positive and solution-based attitude with the ability to work in a nimble environment
- Willing to sometimes work overtime when under tight deadlines
- Experience in the outdoor industry a plus
