Job Opening: Senior 3D Animator
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with 3D Artists, Leads and the Animation Supervisor to ensure the clients’ requirements are met.
- Working under guidance of the Senior 3D Artists to grow and develop the business, as well as implement working methodologies, manage large projects and coordinate the visual effects output and quality control.
- Previous experience Animating in advertising, feature film or animation production – ideally realistic creatures or characters
- Experience using Maya
- Solid understanding of animation production pipelines
- Good communication skills to enable you to work well in a team and take direction from clients, directors etc
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Some experience with Rigging and/or other more generalist character skills would be a benefit but are not essential.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 Plus years of previous experience in the high-end feature film
- Excel as a team player and strive to maximize team/department performance
- A thorough understanding of animation pipelines and the processes involved from the conceptual phase to implementation
- Must be responsive to deadlines and work well under pressure
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
