Job Opening: 2D Artist
Location: Krakow, Warsaw, Poland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop, create character, vehicle, weapon, garment and environment assets matching project and studio standards
- Works with Lead Artists to ensure timely completion of game assets
- Communicates regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
- Obtains Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
- Is expected to continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
- Coordinates with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 2D Artists as well as sharing best project practices with them
- Contributes to the team-oriented environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of lighting, coloring, anatomy, perspective and composition
- Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and/or Corel Painter as well as some knowledge of 3D tools and pipeline
- Ability to paint or concept in any style
- Ability to concept with a high degree of ideation utilizing techniques that enhance speed and revision work
- Advanced knowledge of sketching/ illustration/speed painting, and ability to concept characters and/or environments
- Ability to receive constructive feedback
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
