Job Opening: Senior Visual Design Artist
Location: Shanghai, China
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Define the direction and goals for art and creative content based on Riot guidelines and business needs, responsible for connecting the creative approach to business strategy
- Collaborate with internal artists, external partners, and production houses to create graphic/animation/illustration/CG/marketing video assets to drive full-funnel growth
- Provide briefs, feedback, and guidance to collaborating Illustrators, animators, and graphic artists for the best art outcomes
- Foster and improve efficient and scalable production processes and collaboration patterns with various art partners
- Manage a library of CN League publishing art assets
- Monitor and analyze art content performance for future growth opportunities
- Source potential partners to grow our talent pool
- Monitor and provide insights about the market trends and art preference of our target audiences
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in the publishing or entertainment-related industry and providing art direction and mentorship across a multi-disciplinary team
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Miro, and presentation tools
- Expert knowledge of Illustration, concept/design, storytelling, animation, and the creative development process
- Showcases a strong understanding of brand building, typography, and visual design system
- Persistent self-education around innovations in marketing creative
- Passion for gaming and the Esports industry
- Great writing ability in English
