Job Opening: Senior Technical Artist

Responsibilities:
- Your main focus will be defining and streamlining art workflows in Maya and in Unity.
- You will help develop and maintain tooling in Maya, with a high degree of autonomy around the pipelines and processes from DCC to in-game.
- You will proactively identify ways to support and empower artists through tooling, and develop short and long term strategies in regards to scale and automation.
- You will be responsible for the productivity of artists and drive improvements to creating assets at scale.
- You’ll collaborate closely with tech art, art, and engineering to iterate on asset creation and management.
- You will help create Unity tools and technology that help artists realize their vision.
- You will be working with bleeding-edge Unity technology, both as a user and to help guide future development.
- You will partner with our graphics engineers to help bring our art vision to life.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Have 5+ years of experience as a technical artist for games.
- Are open, humble, service-oriented, and excited about learning and contributing in multiple areas of the studio. Your curiosity propels you to jump in and dive deep into new problems.
- Collaborate well with developers of all disciplines.
- Have experience with Maya, Python, and Qt.
- Have experience proactively developing and evolving pipelines and tools.
- May have Unity experience, but if not, you are excited to learn.
- May have experience with real-time rendering in terms of writing shaders and monitoring graphics performance.
- May have experience working on a live game and supporting live content pipelines.
