Job Opening: Senior/Principal Gameplay Animator
Location: Europe
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Creating 3D animations for humans, animals, monsters, and props.
- Delivering high-quality hand-keyed and mocap-derived animations.
- Communicating with the Gameplay Animation Lead to ensure a consistent style.
- Working closely with programmers and designers to create gameplay mechanics.
- Collaborating with production to ensure a high-quality project that meets our deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 5 years of documented experience as a gameplay animator.
- Very good knowledge of any 3D package (Maya preferably).
- Skill in animating the human figure to create realistic animations.
- Experience working with motion capture data.
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating closely with designers and programmers.
- Good understanding of keyframe animation principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to animation creation.
- Good understanding of game design principles and how to create animations that support the gameplay.
- Comfortable working in a game engine editor (Unreal Engine knowledge is a plus).
- Proficiency in English.
- Good knowledge of MotionBuilder.
- Experience in animating realistic creatures.
- Experience working on a third-person-perspective action game.
