Job Opening: Senior Graphics Engineer

Location: Santa Monica, Los Angeles, USA

Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, refactor and maintain rendering pipelines and features
  • Design, write, debug and refine rendering systems, features, tools and infrastructure as needed
  • Work with the technical art team to develop specifications and new graphics features
  • Optimize graphics and effects to maximize performance and efficiency on CPU and GPU.
  • Optimize systems for performance across a wide range of devices, from mobile to PC to High-end console

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Over 7 years of experience with graphics-related responsibilities in commercial game project development
  • Experience developing multiple games through the full game production cycle, including working in partnership with co-development or outsourced vendors.
  • Advanced knowledge of C++ programming language applied in various areas of project development, other languages are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of shader languages GPU hardware, and performance analysis tools
  • Strong math/3d geometry skills
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary work with large-scale game engine architecture
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-directing, strong communication skills
  • Experience with deep performance optimization and tuning
  • Prior work, personal or professional, that shows exceptional insight and skill in execution

Pluses

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
  • Experience with VR development environments: Quest, PSVR, PC
  • Passion for games and game technology
