Job Opening: Senior Graphics Engineer
Location: Santa Monica, Los Angeles, USA
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Architect, refactor and maintain rendering pipelines and features
- Design, write, debug and refine rendering systems, features, tools and infrastructure as needed
- Work with the technical art team to develop specifications and new graphics features
- Optimize graphics and effects to maximize performance and efficiency on CPU and GPU.
- Optimize systems for performance across a wide range of devices, from mobile to PC to High-end console
Qualifications & Skills:
- Over 7 years of experience with graphics-related responsibilities in commercial game project development
- Experience developing multiple games through the full game production cycle, including working in partnership with co-development or outsourced vendors.
- Advanced knowledge of C++ programming language applied in various areas of project development, other languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of shader languages GPU hardware, and performance analysis tools
- Strong math/3d geometry skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Experience with multi-disciplinary work with large-scale game engine architecture
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-directing, strong communication skills
- Experience with deep performance optimization and tuning
- Prior work, personal or professional, that shows exceptional insight and skill in execution
Pluses
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Experience with VR development environments: Quest, PSVR, PC
- Passion for games and game technology
