Job Opening: Senior Game Engineer
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Build gameplay features and systems, with a focus on UI-centric gaming experiences
- Fix issues and maintain the quality of the codebase
- Take ownership over features and tasks
- Provide input on technical matters
- Collaborate with other stakeholders on game ideas, design, game play, and features
- Resolve performance and stability issues
- Create and maintain relevant technical documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
- Experience in web front-end development
- Understanding of mobile software platforms (iOS, Android)
- Experience in professional, team-based software development with shipped product(s) and having worked on a live product
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proactive, self starter mentality and a can-do attitude
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English
