Job Opening: Senior 3D Designer
Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior 3D Footwear Designer, you will be working under the Digital Product Creation Organization while focusing on 3D Design for global footwear.
- You will also collaborate with other members of the design team including product, materials, color, and computational designers as part of a creative collective on each project.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial, transportation design, animation, architecture, a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Unique design philosophy and strong creative drive
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and team spirit
- Proficiency in 3D Design, polygonal and surface modeling
- Demonstrated proficiency using digital design applications (i.e. Maya, Modo, Rhino, ZBrush, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Demonstrates ability to use AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools in their design process (i.e. Vizcom, NewArc, etc.)
- Experience in crafting conceptual prototypes and proficiency in preparing 3D assets for rapid prototyping (RP)
- Possess an in-depth understanding of digital creation market trends and new technologies
- Ability to continually expand knowledge of digital creation tools and processes and stay current with industry digital creation innovations
- Footwear product experience is a must
- Experience working in a highly multidimensional design environment
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
